PRODUCTION & CERTIFICATION
OF OUR FIRE RATED DOORS

Raw materials, used for the production of fire damper glazing, arrive in our factories by trucks to be stored in special warehouses and therefore to be transformed or assembled during the processing phases, which are the following.

PRODUCTION STAGES

UNLOADING & STORAGE

The bundles of laminated steel and extruded aluminium profiles are unloaded by an overhead crane. The material is then stored so that it is always available.

WAREHOUSE

The material is stored ready and available for the next working phases.

CUTTING

The bars and profiles are cut using belt and disk cut-off saws.

WORKSTATION

The two computerised workstations make the holes, slots and milling.

WELDING

The steel profiles are seam welded and then belt polished.

PAINTING

They are then painted using thermoset powders.

CONTROL CENTER

During the control phase, the frames are carefully checked before they are packaged.

HANDLING

Unload using a bridge crane and store the crates of Pilkington Pyrostop Extraclear and Pyroclear glass.

INSERTING

In this phase the glass is inserted and the accessories are applied.

MARKING

The last phase involves washing, taping and final marking.

CERTIFIED SECURITY

All doors and closing elements are tested in appropriate laboratories, which are approved by the competent Ministry, which issues the necessary certifications to be able to be marketed in Italy and abroad. Each element is affixed to a steel plate with the manufacturer, date, name of the certifying body, resistance class and production number.
